It is ambition that allows us to create a place where the original spirit of the conservation of Umbrian agricultural traditions meets the innovation of the competitive and latest production and logistic processes. The love we have for our job shows us that we are taking the right path. But the whole basis of our activity lays on the sense of endless research of the fruit, authentic taste and flavour masterpiece, that our land gives to us: the truffle. The firm Valnerina Tartufi was born on April 2007, from the strong desire of Elisabetta and Leonardo. Nevertheless, our business would not have existed without the more than fifty-year-old experience of the entire Matteucci family, without the fundamental contribution of dozens of truffle hunters who consider us the benchmark that makes the most of their wise and methodical work. Our truffles, the result of nature’s hard work, grow in the luxuriant area of Valnerina, the green heart of Italy, in the shade of oaks, poplars and lime trees that grow in the Podere Matteucci, in a protected and enviable habitat. The products that derive from this environment retain the taste and the flavour of our woods. Our work, and in the past our grandfather's and father's work, only aims to enhance the products of our land. We sell our products fresh or packed in jars, without any other spices, additives or preservatives. The olive oil from our land ensures a perfect conservation of the flavour in the jar and of all the truffle’s characteristics, enhancing all its organoleptic properties.
